Teen & Youth Ministry

Of course, all our Teen & Youth programs are drug, smoke and alcohol free .

Ignite is for Teens and runs every friday night (during school terms) from 7.30pm - 9.30pm in our dedicated Teen room!  Ignite is loads of fun, friendly and has food!  We also discuss Teen issues and get into some good bible stuff along the way.  Come say hi! 

We also run regular social events throughout the year that can be pretty crazy, hilarious and fun! It's just a great time to hang out amongst friends.

Teen & Youth Lifegroups (small group studies) run every saturday from 9.30am to 10.45am.  It's a great opportunity to network with some friends, catch up on what's been happening and get into the Word.  We'd love you to rock up and join us!

The last Friday night of each month means it’s Intrepid time! With live music in a cafe atmosphere from 8pm, this is a time to chill out with our youth in a low-key, relaxed way providing plenty of opportunities to meet up with friends old and new.  Intrepid runs from 8pm - 10pm.

Intrepid means ‘fearless and persistent in the pursuit of something’ and ‘searching boldly’…. this describes many of us youth, who are passionately searching for things like true meaning and purpose in life, genuine mates, ways to make a real difference in someone else’s life, the non-short-term happiness which lasts well into tomorrow, maybe someone to love and how exactly to love them, an real experience with Jesus here and now, and the list goes on. Everyone has their own search.

So what’s ‘intrepid youth’ all about? A bunch of young people dream of a place where we could feel totally safe to bring some of our mates who just might not have had a decent chance to know Jesus yet. We wanted a fun program which would be totally agenda and pressure free, but still give us opportunities to get amongst the action and basically getting into life with each other! 

The Intrepid dates for 2009 are: March 27, April 24, May 29, June 26, July 31, August 28, September 25, October 30, November 27

Pathfinders

Pathfinders is purely fun camping and learning life skills along the way.  Pathfinders takes our High School aged kids into the wild, celebrating and exploring nature. Regular camps are held throughout the year and open to all teens and their friends.  If you'd like more information, contact our Youth Leader.
