We're stepping up our mission program after our Cambodia Orphanage project, and PROJECT 318 is the result!
Project 318 draws its inspiration from 1 John 3:18, and it’s intention is to give the Kellyville members, friends, and family a chance TO SERVE GOD IN SHORT TERM MISSION.
We hope that Project 318 becomes a long term part of Kellyville’s ministry with domestic, weekend and international mission. We want to share the blessings of working on projects to help the less fortunate, and we really hope that others can gain the same blessings from this ministry.
So, what exactly is the first project?
We’ll we’ve taken the concept of the Cambodia’08 project, and kicked it up about 10 notches.
We’ve partnered with a great organisation called International Children’s Care Australia. ICC are a supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and are doing awesome work all over the world. Check them out at www.iccaustralia.org.au.
WE NOW HAVE A TEAM OF 62 to hit Thailand and Cambodia for 3 weeks from December 27, 2009 - January 21, 2010!
The team of 62 will split into 4 teams, and each person will choose to work on a project in each country. After one week, we’ll all meet up for the weekend, then disperse into the second project. Then after two weeks, we’ll all put our feet up and have a holiday for a few days together.

Phnom Penh Rubbish Dump - Relocation of 'homeless'
Orphanage Cambodia - Maintenance, teaching, community projects, fun with the kids
Orphanage Thailand/Habitat For Humanity Community Building - Phao House of Dreams Women's refuge
Refugee Medical Centre - First Aid, Medical Attention, Assistance within the refugee camp
