Our STORMco team left for Nyngan on Friday April 10. A team of almost 40 volunteers this year has spent many weeks in preparation for the week ahead. The majority of our team are students who give up one week of their holidays to serve the central west town of Nyngan.
A large leather-bound Bible with each book printed in a different language will arrive at Kellyville Church on Easter Sabbath. The Bible commenced its journey on 11 October last year at the Annual Council of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and will visit each world division of the Church until it reaches the General Conference of the Church in Atlanta City, July 2010.
We kicked off our Week of Spiritual Emphasis this week with a fantastic first night! Iki kept the audience engaged, entertained and inspired with his stories and illustrations of how we might find renewal and grow further.
Special music provided by 'Black and Bleach' was great too, with smooth harmonies in their acapella style.
Afterwards, the cafe provided refreshment and 5-star desserts by our qualified chefs and their teams of assistants.
Sounds great? Well it was! Make sure you're there on time as the program commences promptly at 7.30pm and finishes by 8.30pm, so you can have your cake and eat it too! :) We hope to see you there.
We look forward to welcoming you to Iki's Kitchen! Food To Fuel Your Life ...
